Pro Kabaddi

 , A premiere league of kabaddi, based on the style of IPL, has been attracting attention of all the Indian sports fan. In a country where cricket is followed as a religion, Kabaddi is drawing attention to its thrill and excitement.

India has always lacked in gymnastics and athletics. Games other than cricket doesn't attract much attention of fans and sponsors. But since the inception of IPL many other leagues for different games have been trying to improve the state of sports in India. Some of the previously launched leagues were for Football, Hockey and badminton.
Kabaddi is an game of Indian origin, in which players defenders try to capture the opposition raider, and raiders try to touch the defenders and return safely to their arena. It's battleground kind of gameplay gives it the thrill, which uplifted it to the international level.
Many of Indian personalities and fans have shown great interest in the first Pro Kabaddi League. Bollywood star Abhishek bacchan and film producer/ UTV  Ronnie Screwala are to name a few.
